TLSWFA we created to give athletes in the Gulf Coast Region another chance to play the game, while showcasing their athletic strengths.

Our approach to the sport is unique in that, our top priority is "mentorship". We require each of our teams to produce at least 25 hours each year in some form of community service. Our aim is to continually better our integrity and character in each of our players.

Teams from the two states will compete in a ten-game schedule, advancing to playoff contention. The 2008 season will begin on Saturday, March 1, ending in the league championship on May 31.
